  • Started the codebase in March 2024 and lead its development: 2,500+ of its 5,000+ commits, in a 180,000+ line React, Node/Express, and SQL codebase.
  • Own architecture and delivery: turn business requirements into database and infrastructure design, break projects into tasks, and manage sprints.
  • Build React features and Node/Express REST APIs on PostgreSQL, with custom email infrastructure, worker queues, Stripe webhooks, and Twilio SMS using each company’s own API key.
  • Built AWS staging and production environments with private S3 document storage using pre-signed URLs. Releases are tested against staging restored from the latest production backup.
  • Run Prometheus, Grafana, and PostHog monitoring with automated error-threshold alerts, and optimized client-side image processing to publish 70+ photos in under 2 minutes.

Full-Stack Developer, Aquifer Investments (March 2023 to March 2024)

  • Built a Django website with city and county pages and JSON-LD markup, and a Google Data Studio KPI tracker fed by Google Apps Script.
  • Built a phone scrubber on the Trestle API with a rate-limited queue (Python, Django, MySQL, HTMX).
  • Developed and maintained a multi-threaded scraper that gathered public records (Python, Selenium, Playwright, Node.js).

Web Developer, SEO and PPC Specialist, World Car

World Car Auto Group (auto dealership group), San Antonio, TX. November 2014 to present, part-time since 2023: Google search campaign management.

  • Built a Go ETL pipeline and API that syncs vehicle inventory to Google and Facebook ad platforms, still used for inventory marketing.
  • Built a vehicle page script that matched on-page pricing and legal disclaimers to each ad’s offer, and a market-pulse scraper that tracked competing inventory.
  • Ran SEO for 13 dealerships with city-based strategy, custom pages, and automated reporting in Google Apps Script.
  • Managed Google and Bing ad accounts with $10K - $40K monthly budgets across all 13 stores.
