Hire a Freelance Developer Who Understands Marketing

You probably do not need another agency

You need someone who understands the problem across marketing, data, and code, and can build the fix.

Many companies end up with the same split. The marketing agency can describe the technical problems but cannot touch the code, and the developers build what they are told without knowing how search or ads work.

I sit across that gap. I have run SEO and paid search for 13 dealerships, and I lead development on a production SaaS.

You might be a good fit if

  • Your website has become a bottleneck for marketing changes.
  • A spreadsheet has turned into a system that breaks every month.
  • Your data lives in several places and no report matches another.
  • Your developers do not understand the marketing side.
  • Your agency cannot make changes in code.
  • An internal tool needs to exist, but a full team is not worth it.
  • You need someone to make architecture decisions and also write the code.

What I can take on

I work in five areas. Each has its own page with examples and questions I get asked.

Why the marketing background matters

A developer who has never run an ad account builds a feed that works technically but misses what the platform needs. A marketer who cannot read code cannot tell why tracking breaks.

At World Car I wrote the Go pipeline that feeds inventory to Google and Facebook ads, and I ran the ad accounts that used it. I also built a page script that matched prices and legal disclaimers to the ad that was clicked. Building and running both sides taught me where problems hide.

Proof you can check

  • RE/AMP: a production multi-tenant SaaS I lead development on, used regularly by a few companies.
  • Inventory ad feed pipeline: a Go pipeline still used for Google and Facebook inventory marketing.
  • Careers site: about 460 users per month on average over nine months, and 451 unique users submitting applications, per GA4.
  • Public code: repositories with tests and documented setup.

What I will not do

I will not promise rankings or specific revenue. I do not manage large teams or vendors, and I do not produce video or brand creative. If your project needs those, I will say so and suggest a partner.

You might be a good fit if...
